This was one of the best places to go in the U.S in my opinion. It is beautiful, full of life, and so many different people. The energy is just a constant fast pace. There is so much history in the District of Columbia. It is home to many historical artifacts and of course the president of the United States. There are so many places to visit, it would be impossible to see everything all in one trip.
One of my favorite places to see was the famous Lincoln memorial. How you see it in the movies and on T.V gives it no justice. Let me start off by saying its bigger than it seems. The vibe you get when you are there makes you feel in awe and as if you have some kind of superpower where you are own top of the world.

The Smithsonian itself is made up of many buildings that take half a day to day each to view. Just like the movie Night at the museum, all of the famous sculptures, paintings, and much much more. Yes, the Einstein bobble heads are a real thing.... one of my favorite posters was the well known, "We want you". I don't know why but I guess because its such an iconic poster.

Another place that is a must see is the World War II memorial. It is located at the National Mall between the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument. Its such a perfect place to pat tribute to those who served in the second World War at the Freedom Wall.
Of course you cannot go to D.C with out visiting the White House. Obviously I didn't get to go inside, but I did get to see the front the place. Just by being there I was excited hoping I would get to see Obama. Of course I didnt but it was still cool just knowing I was there in front of one of the most protected houses in the world. There was so much security and I was scared just to walk around and accidentally make a wrong move and being attacked by a security guard. Fortunately that didn't happen.
Washington D.C is somewhere I think every American should try to get to go at least once in their life. Its so rich with history, memories, and wonderful vibes.
